ABOUT THE BLACK LILLIES:
* Current album, Runaway Freeway Blues, debuted at #21 on Billboard Heatseekers chart and #43 on Billboard Top 200 Country Albums chart.

* Runaway Freeway Blues peaked at #4 on the Americana Music Association radio chart, with three months in the top 5 and almost 6 months in the top 40. It also was in the AAA top 50, CMJ top 100 and held the #1 lot on the Roots Music Report charts.

* The band’s second appearance on NPR’s Mountain Stage begins airing next week.

* They currently have two separate specials running on CMT, a current feature on GAC, both a “Sun Studio Sessions” and “Bluegrass Underground” episode on PBS, and will be featured in USA Today in early October. Recent media appearances and press coverage include Wall Street Journal, Vanity Fair, Country Weekly, Relix Magazine, and PASTE Magazine. The band has had three videos in the past year that received international airplay on stations including CMT, CMT Pure, GAC, VH-1 and MTV – all three made it to the #2 slot in CMT’s video countdown, based on fan requests.

* Veterans of festivals including Bonnaroo Music + Arts, MerleFest, CMA Fan Fair, Americana Music Festival, Pickathon, Four Corners Folk Festival, and more with a 2014 appearance confirmed at Stagecoach Festival.
