Recently Voted Best Band in Pittsburgh by Pittsburgh Magazine, the four members of the band — Michael Lindner, Taylor Netzler, Jonathan Colman, and Tyler Bond — have been putting on epic, crowd-pleasing shows all across the U.S. from New York to California, and everywhere in between. Born and blossomed in the loft of an Airstream-restoration shop in Montana, emerges Airstream Safari. Since their conception in September of 2009, Airstream Safari has accomplished much in a short period of time. Recording/releasing a full length album, amassing a loyal fanbase and developing their musical aptitude through multiple live shows, is just the beginning for this Missoula-based band.
The songs of Airstream Safari are personalities unto themselves. Each song is a fully explored slice of life that lives in each hearing and one gets to know them deeper with every listen. With unpretentiously solid songwriting, melodic bass lines and naturally grooving drum beats, the listener is invited to own a piece of these songs.
